TOP 100 70’s SONGS
Here we are with my top 100 songs from the seventies, and have to admit choosing was a lot harder than what I thought it would be. I suppose they cannot all be classed as 'rock' songs, some are a bit 'pop' a couple are a bit soppy but nevertheless less still good songs in my opinion. I decided to limit the number of songs from some artists (Pink Floyd, Bowie, Genesis, Deep Purple, Rainbow) in the 100 but could easily have included more.
Some 'big' songs are missing from my list, 'Smoke On The Water', 'Stairway To Heaven','Another Brick In The Wall, 'Freebird', 'Bohemian Rhapsody' as good as they are they just did not make my list.
So here are my top 100 songs, they are listed in no particular order of preference, however if I was pushed to name a favourite rock track I think it would be 'Stargazer'
