Also in the charts are albums by Yes, Pink Floyd, Beatles, ELP, Mike Oldfield,Roxy Music, Rod Stewart & The Face and Paul McCartney and Wings.Overall not a bad showing for rock music.

 Scoured the internet for lists* showing top Glam Rock Albums, not many to choose from to be honest but have had a go and come up with a top 18 based on number of times they were listed. The top five were mentioned in all four lists and the remainder mentioned three times. In all 48 artists had a mention with a total of 111 albums

This weeks track of choice is by Loverboy from their 1980 self titled album Loverboy. Probably my favourite song this became the breakout hit for this Canadian Rock Band.

This seems to be the chart for 'best of ' compilations with the K-Tel, Arcade and Ronco labels making an entrance. On the positive side we have showings from Pink Floyd, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan with two entries from Queen and Mike Oldfield.

Searched the internet for some lists showing best melodic rock albums to create list showing below.Not so mush information flying about on this but have managed to come up with a top 30. Special mention has to be given to Michael Bolton who had six different albums mention over the four reference lists* I used.

 Has to be said no one got a mention in all four lists that were looked at so the first ten shown below had three mentions the remainder had two. One hundred and ten different artists were mentioned.
